Unfortunately, this was one of the worst Airbnb experiences we’ve had. The unit had a strong musty odor and cleanliness issues. Surfaces felt greasy, the mattress was stained, and one pillow appeared soiled. The space felt unsanitary and uncomfortable. The unit also lacks central air conditioning the AC is in the common area, while the bedroom relies on a fan. The bedroom was much warmer, and the fan plus AC created constant noise. Outside the bedroom window were several wall-mounted AC units serving other rentals, which were loud and caused vibrations that made sleeping difficult. Communication was also poor. After booking, we were told hosts do not respond after 9 p.m. On arrival night, I asked about the coffee listed in the amenities and was told they would get back to me, but I did not receive a response until after checkout the next day. When we later had Wi‑Fi issues, we again received no timely help so we left well before checkout to find a place to work.

We came in to Lexington for the Railbird Music Festival. We did not spend much time hanging out in the Airbnb, but the time we did spend there was comfortable and peaceful. We had long days at the music festival and were happy to come back to the Airbnb…..eat a couple snacks, sleep, and get ready for the next day!! We enjoyed the short walk to the little coffee and donut shop at the corner in the mornings. Great location super close to downtown…yet out of the mix of all of the activity. Would definitely recommend!!!
