Stylish Woodland Cabin w/ Sauna & Hot Tub

A peaceful, quiet location that made for a great getaway cabin. The hosts were responsive and helpful with our questions both before and during the stay, and the amenities inside made everything comfortable. A note on access: the AWD recommendation is mostly fair, though I managed fine in a sedan during summer as the hills themselves weren't my issue. The bigger challenge was the torrential rain which created deep trenches and erosion in the roads. The—what I guess was—association had re-graveled it during our stay, but more ground clearance would allow you to roll through with less caution. I wouldn't attempt driving to the property in a low-riding sports car though and winter conditions might be a different story with the hills. Overall a comfortable, relaxing stay with great hosts. :)

We had a great stay at this cottage. It served as a respite in between all our hiking, kayaking, ATV riding and other adventures. The location is very quiet even throughout the day and is centrally located between all the different kinds”things to do” - our longest drive was 15-20 minutes. The couches were comfy for lounging in the evenings and the beds were comfortable as well. Even though it was in the 90’s, we still enjoyed short stints in the hot tub - because why not, right? Air Conditioning kept the house nice and cool. We would definitely book this place again if we travel to the Red River Gorge area. Allen was very responsive to any questions we had - usually responding in less than 30 minutes through the app. He did supply a phone number but we never felt any need to call for anything. You will want to have an all wheel drive vehicle to get to the property. Our Honda CRV handled the inclines and gravel road with ease.

This cabin is PERFECT!!! Loved it and will def be back. Best sauna I ever used, a record player, good kitchen, dreamy bed…. Simply the best!
